20 civilian casualties and hundreds wounded in Duma by SAA bombardment | Heavy fighting in Kuweyres Military Airport since yesterday | Opposition forces advance in Harasta | Three new battle locations in Homs Governorate

Damascus Governorate:

The city of Duma is target to heavy SAA bombardment once more, causing 20 civilian casualties and at least 200 injuries.

Aleppo Governorate:

1. A video was released showing 8 IS fighters’ heads cut off of their bodies by SAA soldiers in Kuweyres Military Airport after an IS suicide VBIED attack and fighting between the two factions yesterday killed 9 SAA officers.
2. Approximately 50 IS rockets were launched on the village of Marea yesterday, some of these rockets contained harmful chemical substances.
3. Clashes break out between SAA and opposition forces in al-Shihan area. Reports of casualties on both sides.
4. SAA and opposition forces renew their fighting in al-Khaledia Neighborhood, northwest Aleppo.

Raqqah Governorate:

International Coalition airstrikes kill 2 IS fighters driving a vehicle in Raqqah. One of the fighters was an IS commander.

Latakia Governorate:

5 opposition fighters and a medic killed during fights against the SAA on the summit of mt. Nabi Younis.

Homs Governorate:

1. SAA fight against JAN and opposition forces in al-Hilaliyyah and Jabburin.
2. Fighting breaks out between IS and SAA forces in Maksar al-Hesan. Reports of casualties on both sides.

 

Fighting continues in these areas:

Aleppo Governorate:

1. Kuweyres Military Airport: IS vs SAA. Reports of 9 SAA officers killed during an IS suicide VBIED attack and fighting carried out yesterday including a colonel in addition to 8 IS casualties.
2. Tell Riman: IS vs SAA.
3. Umm Housh and Wahshiyah: IS vs opposition forces.
4. Bashkuy and Handarat: SAA vs opposition and JAN. 1 opposition casualty in addition to reports of more SAA casualties. An SAA cannon was destroyed by an opposition guided missile.

al-Ghab Plain – Idlib Governorate: SAA and Hezbollah vs JAN and opposition forces in al-Bahsa. 2 opposition casualties yesterday one of which was an opposition faction commander and reports of more casualties today.

Homs Governorate:

1. al-Quaryatayn – Mheen: IS vs SAA. One SAA casualty reported.
2. Talbisah: SAA vs opposition and JAN.
3. Jazal Gas Fields: IS vs SAA.

Damascus Governorate:

1. Zabadani: SAA, Hezbollah, PLA, and NDF vs islamist factions and local fighters. 1 Hezbollah casualty reported and another SAA soldier died of his wounds in addition to one SAA lieutenant also killed during the fighting. Reports of more casualties on both sides.
2. Military Vehicle Department – Harasta: SAA vs opposition and JAN forces. 9 opposition casualties thus far. Reports of opposition advances being made in the area.

Quneitra Governorate: SAA vs opposition forces in Madinat al-Ba’ath and Hader.

Daraa: SAA vs opposition and JAN. Reports of casualties on both sides.

Sahem al-Golan Dam – as-Suwayda Governorate: JAN and islamist factions vs Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade. Reports of casualties on both sides.
