Damascus Governorate:
4 consecutive IS suicide bombings were carried out in Sayda Zaynab, southern Damascus, causing the death of 62 individuals and injuring an additional 180 men and women. The first suicide attack was a VBIED and the other three were carried out by IS members with suicide vests. A similar attack was carried out by IS on this neighborhood less than a month ago (31/01/2016).
Homs Governorate:
A double suicide bomber attack was carried out today by two IS members in al-Zahra neighborhood, Homs. Both attacks were executed by IS members inside vehicles armed with an IED. The number of casualties has reached 59 in addition to more than 100 wounded. This is the second time in less than a month that an attack of this kind by the Islamic State targeted al-Zahra neighborhood (26/01/2016).
Aleppo Governorate:
- Opposition and JAN shelling of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, northern Aleppo, caused the death of 11 individuals during the past 24 hours in addition to approximately 85 wounded.
- RuAF airstrikes on Anjarah, a village 16 km northwest of Aleppo, caused the death of 6 individuals.
- SAA clash with opposition forces in Bustan al-Qasr neighborhood, central Aleppo.
Hasakah Governorate:
SDF released a statement in which they described attacks carried out against them on the 19th of February by unknown aircraft on the SDF-controlled area near Tishreen Oil Fields. The attacks caused the death of 3 SDF fighters.
Raqqah Governorate:
2 IS members were killed and 4 others wounded by an explosion yesterday in al-Idkhar Housing, western Raqqah, during their assembly of an explosive vest.
Daraa Governorate:
A commander from JAN was killed by unknown assailants in Inkhil, a town 44 km north of Daraa.
Quneitra Governorate:
Heavy-machinegun fire was exchanged between SAA and opposition forces in the vicinity of as-Samadaniyah al-Gharbi, just east of Quneitra. Reports of casualties on both sides.

- East of Aleppo – Aleppo – Dayr Hafir Road: SAA vs IS. SAA continue advancing in the area, taking control over two additional villages. 50 IS casualties reported since yesterday’s fighting.
- Ashrafiyye – Sheikh Maqsoud Neighborhoods: SDF vs opposition forces including the 16th Brigade. Reports of 5 SDF casualties.
- Zerbeh – South of Aleppo: SAA vs opposition, Jund al-Aqsa, JAN, and Turkestan Islamic Party forces.
ash-Shaddadi – Hasakah Governorate: SDF vs IS. IS launch a counter-offensive. SDF continue their advances in the area. Reports of casualties on both sides. 65 IS and 13 SDF casualties since the beginning of the attack on the 17th of February. Reports of 12 IS fighters taken prisoner by the SDF.
Jabal al-Akrad – Jabal Turkman – Latakia Governorate: SAA, IRGC, NDF, and Russian ground Troops under Russian supervision vs the 1st and 2nd Coastal Divisions, Ahrar ash-Sham, Ansar ash-Sham, JAN, and Turkestan Islamic Party forces. Reports of casualties on both sides as the SAA continue their advances.
Hirbnafsah – Hama Governorate: SAA vs opposition and JAN forces.
Homs Governorate:
- al-Quaryatayn: SAA vs IS. Reports of casualties on both sides.
