Yesterday’s casualties: 91 | 44 killed by RuAF airstrikes on Raqqah | 18 IS fighters killed in Palmyra battlefield | 4 killed by opposition shelling of Sheikh Maqsoud

Raqqah Governorate:

RuAF airstrikes on Raqqah caused the death of 44 individuals including 5 members of the IS islamic police. An additional 60 individuals were wounded. The airstrikes today followed similar attacks yesterday, now revealed as RuAF attacks.

Aleppo Governorate:

A father and three of his children ages 10-14 were killed by an opposition artillery attack on Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, northern Aleppo.

Hasakah Governorate:

Two Kurdish fighters were killed by a motorcycle VBIED that targeted their roadblock near Abu Rasen, 12 km south of Qamishli.

Quneitra Governorate:

Clashes break out between SAA and opposition forces in northern Quneitra Governorate. Reports of casualties on both sides.

Hama Governorate:

SAA and opposition forces clash once more in Kafarnabodah and al-Mughayr, northern Hama Governorate.

 

Fighting continues in these areas:

Aleppo Governorate:

  1. Northern Aleppo Governorate: IS vs opposition forces. 2 IS VBIED attacks were carried out in the area, causing some opposition casualties. Reports of opposition advances being made.
  2. Sheikh MaqsoudAshrafiyye Neighborhoods: Kurdish forces vs opposition forces.
  3. al-TamurahNublal-Zahraa: SAA vs opposition forces.

Tall ad-Dirra – West of Salamiyah – Hama Governorate: SAA vs opposition forces. Reports of 2 SAA casualties in addition to more casualties reported on both sides.

Homs Governorate:

  1. Palmyra: SAA vs IS. Reports of 18 IS casualties in addition to more casualties on both sides. IS and SAA both advance reinforcements to the area.
  2. al-Quaryatayn: SAA vs IS. Reports of one SAA first-lieutenant killed in the battlefield.

Deir ez-Zor Governorate:

  1. South of Deir ez-Zor: SAA vs IS. Reports of casualties on both sides.
  2. al-Baghiliyah: SAA vs IS. Reports of casualties on both sides.
